Make smart choices!

Many people are looking for a "magic pill" that will allow them to drop 50 pounds in a month. If that is what you are seeking, then don't bother reading this blog, because that is not what Plexus is about.  Plexus is about getting healthy, so losing weight is only a part of the equation.  We have two products that can help you with that particular goal:  #Plexus Boost or #Plexus Accelerator+.   Notice that I said "or" not "and".  That is because you either take Boost or Accelerator+, but not both.

Plexus Boost is an alternative companion to Slim, and is a great way to kick start your biggest health goals.*   Plexus Boost works as a traditional hunger suppressant – with a proprietary blend of botanicals and super foods like Carallum Fimbriata, an edible cactus traditionally used by tribal East Indians to help suppress hunger.*  Boost also contains a thermogenic to help heat up the body to burn fat more quickly.
Plexus Boost contains Yerba Mate which has been shown to be a stimulant, diuretic and it may assist with weight management. The Higenamine used in Plexus Boost, sourced from Tangerine Peel and Lotus Seed, has been shown to increase energy.

Plexus Accelerator+ is also a great sidekick to Slim.  When taken with Slim, in conjunction with diet and exercise, Accelerator+ helps you manage your weight.* Like Boost, Accelerator+ contains Yerba Mate and Higenamine, but also contains 5-HTP.  What is 5-HTP? I'm glad you asked!

5-hydroxytryptophan (an amino acid) is an intermediate metabolite used to produce serotonin. Serotonin is a very important substance which helps promote normal brain and nerve function. Serotonin is the main neurotransmitter that supports mood, sleep functions and appetite. 5-HTP is not found in food, but is produced by the body as a result of the intake of Tryptophan. Yet, an increase in foods containing Tryptophan don't seem to have an effect on the increase of 5-HTP levels. Since the FDA banned the production of Tryptophan in 1988, it opened the door to the production of the natural ingredient, 5-HTP.

Some of the health results of low serotonin levels and why you may need 5-HTP:
• Insomnia
• Headaches
• Joint stiffness
• Anxiety
• Mild to Moderate Depression
• Increase in appetite and cravings

I want to repeat that these products should not be taken together - pick one or the other.  If you are already very active and just want to eat a little less, try Boost.  If you're a bit sluggish and would like to kickstart your metabolism, try Accelerator+.

Both products are 100% vegetarian and are gluten-free.

NOTE:  Yerba Mate is a natural stimulant, so people taking high blood pressure medicine (like me) should consult with a doctor before adding one of these supplements to your routine.

Choose red or purple based on your lifestyle and goals, but choose one if you want to manage your weight!
